****TOWN BOARD MEETINGS WILL BE AVAILABLE NOW ON ZOOM! PLEASE SEE BELOW INFORMATION FOR LINK AND HOW TO ATTEND MEETING VIA ZOOM.

Town of Vernon Town Board is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Topic: Town Board Meeting
Time: Apr 12, 2021 07:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
We're glad you are interested in the work of the Town of Vernon.  The administrator of the meeting will allow you to join at the posted time  that the meeting is scheduled to begin.   You will be able to observe  the meeting.  But unless you are an invited speaker, or the moderator for the meeting has granted you specific permission to address the meeting, your computer will be muted in the Zoom session until any "public" portion of the meeting, where those in the building, or those joining via the web are invited to ask questions or make comments. At that point any of those wishing to address the meeting must have enabled both their computer's microphone and webcam.  How do I check? - In the lower left corner of the Zoom window, there are small symbols representing a microphone and a computer monitor.  A red line through either one means that the sound  and/or the camera on your computer is disabled.  Click once on each one displaying a red line to turn it on.  Once the camera is turned on, hold up your hand  (or click on the "hand" symbol that Zoom provides) and the Zoom administrator will note your request and inform the moderator at an appropriate point in public participation that you wish to address the meeting.
To accept the invitation to join the meeting - click on the provided link below, or go to Zoom.us and enter the meeting and pass codes that are included with this email.  If you have not used Zoom before, there is a a small app that will need to be downloaded and installed, and then you will be able to join into the scheduled Zoom session.
